Gone are the days when I had to pay my dermatologist $25 for his own brand of face cleanser one that thoroughly cleansed without leaving residue or stripping your skin and moisturized at the same time. I did this for 17 years all the time searching for a comparable product so I could patch the hole in my wallet! While on vacation and searching for a bottle of Moisturel lotion (I'd been using their lotion for 17 years but had never seen the cleanser) I found the cleanser. I thought: must be a new thing. The Best Facial Soap

I discovered the use of Pears bar soap as a facial cleanser from a acne discussion group. I have combination skin with moderate breakouts so I love how this keeps my skin clean without over-drying. It's absolutely one of the best finds for a $1.



Before I used Neutrogena glycerin facial bar soap as recommended by my dermatologist but I found that it was getting too expensive -- and it disappears fast! I found little or no difference in quality between Neutrogena and Pears. I actually prefer the green Pears because it's easier to rinse off the residue plus it lasts longer than Neutrogena.



My experience with amber Pears: I've also tried the amber Pears which has a few more ingredients than the green one. The amber one has more of a residue and will need a little more work to rinse off. At first I found the amber scent overpowering but I grew to like it because it reminded me of a vintage 1800's pharmacy stacked with beautiful bottled potions.



The green Pears has less of that medical scent and actually milder with Lemon Flower Extract. To me it smells like Chinese laundry soap with a hint of thyme. I find that both Pears soap leaves a gentle clean without a dry mask feeling.



It doesn't make my complexion look brighter as the old advertising claimed. That's too far fetched. Nonetheless it is an exceptional soap especially for one that is over 200 years old.More detail ...

Great protection (50spf for face) smooth easy application best applied to just showered skin ( or semi-moist/damp skin as w/ most facial skin products) as it enhances it to absorb easieer. This delivers what the other brands just promise

I've been using Perricone skin products for years. They do great things but make my pores larger because they are so greasy.



I bought a Neuro-peptide product for $250 from Perricone. It made my skin glow.



I found out about Roc and started using it. It did in one week what the Perricone neuro peptide had not done in several weeks use. It lifted my turkey neck.



I took the expensive Perricone back and have been using the Roc retinol. My eyelids are visibly lifted in only one month. You can see the before and after pictures on their website.



This stuff is truly amazing and it has not irritated my skin. My skin is super smooth and getting firmer by the day.



This product is wonderful at any price but at $20 per tube it is a steal.

Super soft skin!

I incorporated the Joesoef AHA Glycolic face cream into my skin care routine along with the Joesoef anti-acne soap and SPF 30 moisturizer. This cream is kind of like a drink for my skin --- it just sucks it right up! I apply it in the evenings and my skin has become very very soft and smooth. I have noted better overall skin texture and tone. Despite having sensitive breakout prone skin I have had no problems. A small amount of product is all that is needed! Barely Noticeable Results

Who knew? All my life I've been warned never ever to touch the skin under my eyes. So all undereye treatments have been applied by gently patting them in with my little finger. Now come a roller that smoothes an undereye lotion on without stretching the skin at all. That's the best part.



This little roller or the lotion it applies does make under-eyes slightly smoother and younger looking. However although results may be more noticeable after a week or more of daily use my results (comparing a treated undereye to an untreated one) were only barely noticeable. I really don't expect much improvement over time because Olay touts "instant" results.



Before purchasing this product be sure to read the List of Ingredients and the Product Description prominently displayed on Amazon's sales page. You'll find a typical list of chemical ingredients with the addition of squalane a relatively new entry in the cosmetic anti-aging field.



There's also a notice that your results will not equal those of cosmetic procedures - they won't. This is a minor fix and not major magic.



Finally apply with care. As one reviewer has noted the rollers tend to spread the lotion unevenly and you don't want to get any lotion in your eyes. However with care you need not experience any stinging.



This is a product you'll want to try for yourself. It does work although results can be a mixed bag from another reviewer's "fabulous" to my own "barely noticeable."
